Hey, I’m Emily Beatrice Van der Ros - designer, dressmaker, and founder of Emily Beatrice. My studio is based in beautiful Brisbane, Australia.

Wife to Luke and a proud mum to three little ones, all under the age of six (yes, life is wonderfully full!). My days are a delicate dance between motherhood and bringing to life the bridal collection I’ve always envisioned - a dream that began when I was just a young girl.

Studying an Advanced Diploma of Fashion Design and Technology, my career began working in bridal boutiques, where I fell in love with the emotional magic behind wedding gowns. I then went on to work for over five years in the fashion industry as a Product Developer for high-end Australian brands, honing my eye for detail, quality, and craftsmanship.

It was always my goal to return to where my heart truly lies - creating elegant, timeless handmade wedding dresses for real women, with real bodies, to suit their unique love story.

Every custom-made gown is designed to celebrate your shape and reflect your personal style. It’s not fast fashion, and it’s not off-the-rack. It’s slow, intentional, and made with love - just for you.
